ONly a few days to go and need your help to understand Memory Maker & Photopass & Sharing :

I bought Memory Maker under my MDE (my party : 6 people with MBands).

1) After my first day at the park in which website do I see my photos ? http://www.disneyphotopass.com/ ?

2) My friend and her son staying offsite (but with one MagicBand) have another MDE account and we'd like to share the Memory Maker. She invited me to connect through Family & Friends. Under Edit, I saw this option checked :

"This friend can view and purchase my PhotoPass Photos."

Is it correct ? Or I should have invited her instead ?

3) My friend need to have a photopass account to check her photos?

As you can see, I'm lost... :confused3

I have no first hand experience but have been researching a lot.
Yes, you want the view and purchase photos checked like you stated.
But
Make sure they have it checked in their account too.

Make sure the mm account is linked to your mde account and I don't believe they need a photopass account but could be wrong.
YOU must do all the edits on their photos too or when you dl them they will just be the regular original photos

Thanks for the help !
But what do you mean by " Make sure they have it checked in their account too" ?
I'm not sure how I should to be linked with her, I accepted her invite but I read at http://www.passporterboards.com/for...://www.passporterboards.com/forums&lang=pt-br

that we should be cross-linked. So I think that besides accepting her invite, I'd have to invite her also ?

You don't to have to invite her. She needs to log in under her own password and see that you show up in her Friends and Family list with the option "this person can view and purchase my photos" just like she shows up on. Your list.

Photopass is the right web site to view the pictures, but you don't need a separate account there - it's the same username and password you use for the Disney web site and for MDE.

Thanks Mikie. :) So it seems it's ok cause I see her in my account with this option.

One more question : I`ll only use my MMaker confirmation number after I come back and log in photopass site to start editing and downloading our photos ?

I think you only need your confirmation number in case of problems, to prove you bought it. When you log in to My Photopass site, you use your same login that you use for Disney's web page or MyDisneyExperience and all your pictures should be there. If you bring a tablet or smart phone with you, you can see your photos while you're still there.

When you're ready to download photos, there is a weird quirk about sharing. Only the purchaser of the Memory Maker can actually do the download for free. Your pictures and all of your friend's pictures can be *viewed* under either person's login, but only the purchaser can do the download. That also means that you are the only one who should do the edits, such as adding Disney borders and stickers. Your friend will be able to use the "edit" option on pictures in her account, but those edits will not appear under your login and if your friend tries to download them, she will be asked to pay. You can either have her come and do the edits with you, you can do them for her, or you can give her your login info so that she can make her own edits and download using your account. In my case, the purchaser just did the download for our whole group and used his computer to burn a CD for each person who wanted it.

Hum, I thought that I'd log into my photopass account and see my photos PLUS my friend photos also... How I manage to see her photos ?

Also, I logged into my photopass account and I was wondering if I have to fill this : https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/link/memory-maker/ ... :confused3

I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but I'd not like to see my friend missing her photos ...

Sorry I'm not always clear enough (it makes sense in my own head ;))! You WILL see all photos from both you and your friend. She will also see them in her account. BUT when it comes time to click "download" and get the digital images onto your own computer, that's when only you (the purchaser) can actually do the download for free. You will get all pictures - yours and your friend's, but you have to do it from your login. What you won't see are any EDITS your friend does to the pictures while she's logged in on her own account. All edits need to be done in the purchaser's account.

I purchased my memory maker as part of a pkg, so it was already linked into MDE. From your link, It looks like if you bought it separately and have a code, you do need to enter the code at photopass to connect your memory maker entitlement to your account. I believe you can enter it any time you want - in fact I would probably do it before your trip, not after, in case there is any reason it needs to be activated to capture all your photos properly.

Mikie , You're helping a lot !!! :worship: Now I understood perfectly how I'm gonna see /download the photos after....

The MMaker is showing in my MDE account but it seems to me that putting the MMaker code in that photopass link is the only way to tell photopass that I had bought a MMaker, don't you agree ?

Now I have a new problem ( I asked for help in another thread) : we are linked through MDE to share the MMaker, BUT we can change each others FP+, and we don't want to have this "power" . Is there a way to avoid it ?

It can't hurt to enter it. I never had a code at all, it just showed electronically in my MDE and I never did anything more with it.

I have seen other people concerned about the access your friends list has to change your plans, too. Seems like you're kind of "all or nothing", which not everyone wants! The only thing I think *might* separate your powers is changing settings in your Family and Friends list. You have the choice of clicking "can view and purchased my photos" (so you can share Memory maker) and you also get two choices "can view all my plans" or "can view only my shared plans". . . I think this may limit their access to your FastPass reservations, but I'm not exactly sure what constitutes "shared plans".:confused3. In my case, I was just lucky that my travel group wanted very little to do with making any changes, so I didn't have to worry about them accidentally changing my stuff.

So I'm not alone ... ;)
I selected "can view only my shared plans" thinking that I could select what I wanted to share, but I rolled every detail and it seems that it is an unfinished project.

Thanks so much for your help ! :thumbsup2

Ok, I am still confused and I know I shouldn't be.

Background: going March 2015 a total of 7 us (2 families). I am the only one with MDE access (I am the one to make all ADR's and Fastpasses - the other family is going for the first time and didn't want to be overwhelmed)

I purchased my families tickets with memory maker and the other family purchased their park tickets at the Disney Store (no memory maker only want to do Photopass).

So question/problem has come - the other family as an ADR in Norway for breakfast and the mom is concerned she won't get the photos as she doesn't have memory maker. I told her she will still the get the photos and not to worry. But now other "friends" keep telling her that if she doesn't have memory maker she won't be able to utilize Photopass or they have told her well since Jennifer's family (me) has memory maker all your photos will be on Jennifer's account. It is my understanding that only my families pictures will be on our account and even if the other family doesn't have memory maker they can still use PhotoPass.

Can someone tell me this: if only my family has memory maker only my family will be able to utilize it

thank you

Tisz, you could choose to share Memory maker with the other family if you want to, but it's not automatic just because you're traveling together. Did you link the other family's ticket numbers into your MDE account? If not, and if they also didn't make their own account and link it with yours, their photos will NOT be included with your MM purchase (except if you all are in the photos together)

I believe Akershus and Cinderella's Table are changing their picture structure and I'm not sure of the effective date - it used to be that everyone got (as part of their dinner price) printed copies of their posed pictures in a keepsake cardboard folio. They will be elminating those printed copies, and I think you'll only get them digitally if you buy MM or buy the pictures a la carte.

Anyone can use photopass, even if they dont buy MM - they will see their pictures online, but if they want to download and keep any, they'll have to pay (I believe current price is $15 each).

Mikie, yes I have all 7 of us listed on MDE and I have linked all tickets. I am the only one with a MDE account (the other family is too overwhelmed but all this as it is their first time to WDW), hence how I got elected to do all ADR's and fast passes- Lucky Me!

So now I am wondering what happens with the print photo package as it will discontinue after Jan 4? Will the photos only be available with Memory Maker? If so, how do I make sure the family going with me gets the photos from Akerhus? OMG I am so overwhelmed by this and I shouldn't be with all the trips to Disney I take!

I'm pretty sure if they all are on your MDE, and especially if under their name it says "you manage this account" then you are all considered one party and all photos taken of any of you, whether together or separate, will show up in your Memory maker/photopass. The Akershus ones will be in your account too.

Encourage everyone to get photos taken everywhere, because you've already paid for them! Are you getting magic bands? (Either by staying onsite or offsite and purchasing them). If yes, ride photos will automatically be captured and anyone in your group can have your band scanned when getting a pic at a photographer. If no bands, you will get a photopass card that can be scanned by the photographer - you can have more than one, so you don't have to all be together for photos. after rides you'll need to stop to look at the photo screens and grab a slip of paper from the CM with your code on it. You'll enter that code on the photopass page and your pictures will appear.

I know all the details are hard to absorb ahead of time before you see it all, but once you see it in action, it's really very simple - I promise!

So a friend of mine with annual passes told me not to purchase MM because they get it for free and we can be added to her friends and family list on MDE and get our pictures there. We are not traveling together...not even close, so I'm very confused about how that would work. I would be distraught if I didn't get it and then can't download my pics. How would I even activate the MM if she isn't traveling with us? It really confuses me.
