Memory maker question

I'm here now and have a memory maker account. We have friends here as well but they will be staying a few days longer than us. Can I add them to our account? If so how does that work to add their pictures? Photo pass card? Leave them with our magic band?

yes you can. as long as you add them under friends and family they will be able to use their own magic band to get the pictures. make sure everyone allows photo pass pictures to be seen by everyone else and then you can download their pictures for them

I just checked on this for my upcoming trip and the cast member over the phone told me that it can be done. She told me that I shouldn't download the pictures until everyone was back from their trip....something about a "window" of time and it will start ticking once you start downloading pictures.

By the way, you have to add the group of friends to your friends and family list and then all of the pictures will be together. I believe that YOU are the only one that can download them if you add your friends to your MDE account. The cast member told me to just download, transfer to a thumb drive, and give that to your friends. I would have someone there at Disney help you with that. You'll need your friends' confirmation number and names as they appear in the reservation. Good luck!

you will need to add anyone who you want to be able to use their magic bands to get the pictures. so if your friends are a party of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children you can add the 2 adults so that only pictures using their magic bands are linked. or you can add all 4 that way if its a ride photo or something it will still show up.

Ok one more thing.... I tried adding them and it says connected. It says they can add and view activities. Will their pics starting today that they get taken automatically show up on my account or do I need to do more things in the app such as linking whatever?

Ok two more things total....I had clicked on View Shared Activities Only. Should I have set it to View All My Activities? I don't think it would make a difference but wanted to double check. Thanks!!

View shared activities is fine - that just shows stuff about FP+ and dining reservations. The only thing you need to check off is the box about "____ can view and purchase my photos" your friend needs to go in and do the same.

We're back from our trip and friends are still there. Memory maker sharing worked like a charm. Once they return I'll copy their pics onto a flash drive like someone suggested to give to them. Thanks all for the helpful input!
