Memory Maker Question...

Do you guys know if you purchase the memory maker, are the photos you take before Chef Mickeys or With Cinderella prior to dinner at the castle where you get the nice little take home photo holder included in the memory maker or do you have to still purchase those extra? Thanks

They no longer give out any prints at the restaurants. Memory maker allows you to download those photos free of charge though.

Thanks..Do you feel memory maker is worth the money then? I have no problem taking my own photos?

Memory maker is worth it if you have a large group, or plan to meet a lot of characters, really enjoy ride photos and plan to ride the rides its offered on, or want everyone in the group in a lot of photos.

I also feel that to justify the cost MM forces us into getting way more pictures than we would normally take, and take more time to meet characters, which is a good thing! It usually only takes a moment to have them taken and some of those pictures are a riot, especially the ones taken in the same spot at different times - like a sunny happy morning followed later by a torrential downpour with our ponchos on. My niece has hit that terrible awkward early teen stage and we crack up over some of her reactions to poses this last trip. We got the most amazing photo at MK right at RD - Mickey and the Main Street residents were still waving to the guests from the train platform and we have them in the background waving at the camera. No passers-by ended up in the photo; it's just my family and the characters. For me that one photo alone made MM worth it.

To be relevant, as PP said, you get the meal and ride photos with MM.

Our last trip was our first with MM or any type of photo plan from WDW. It was well worth it to us and we purchased it for our upcoming trip. It saved us from having to carry around a camera (other than our cell phones) and we ended up getting a bunch of pictures we would not have normally gotten. In all we had over 300 pictures taken and it didn't really interfere with our daily plans/activities. Since we have our own photo printer at home it only cost us ink and the type of paper we wanted the pictures printed on outside of the cost of the MM. We aren't fans of going to a photo place to have our pictures developed/printed.

It really depends on you though.

I am purchasing this even though there are only 2 adult ( myself and DD20 )- we will be there the week before Christmas so want to make sure we get all the holidays pics we can. We are also doing the Christmas Party so I wanted to make sure to have it for that. On the flipside, my daughter balks and fusses ( yes she's 20 ) at taking the pictures but, this way since it's paid for already, she knows she has to be more willing and cooperative -
