Memory Maker Question

Sorry if this is a bit of a basic question. I did a search and haven't been able to find the answer.

My parents want to purchase the memory maker for our family trip in April. There will be 8 of us in 3 rooms. If my parent purchase MM, how exactly to the rest of us link our MB so that we can add pictures to their account without being with them? Is it just automatically done through the friends and family on MDE? Is there something we have to check off? My dad doesn't like not understanding how something exactly works and is hesitant on purchasing no matter how much I tell him not to worry.

Any information would be a big help. Sorry again if this is basic info, I am a bit out of the loop on this one.

If you are friends and family linked when you go to manage friends and family it says this person can view my PhotoPass photos. Or it says this person cannot view my photos. As long as it says they can view they'll be able to see the photos in the account. If they can see the photos they can download them.
It's pretty straightforward.

So if my dad purchases MM, all my sister and I have to do is make sure the box with "This friend can view and purchase my PhotoPass photos" is checked off under his settings and we are all set?

I was under the impression only one person can download them. My question is, if we are all linked on my Disney experience as friends and family, will everyone be able to ADD pics, as we are in the parks, separately? Ex. I am at MK get stopped by photo pass people, they take my pic, inlaws are in AK same thing. Photo pass takes their pic. Aunt is in HS and has her pic taken by photo pass. Will all three pics just download to the account or will we each get those cards with a code on the back to add ourselves? Say we are on different rides, will they just go into the account or does the "account holder" have to be with them every time?

Anyone can get pictures taken and added to their MagicBands. As long as they're friends who can view photos in My Disney Experience, the Memory Maker manager will be able to download them. They do not need to be there when the photo is taken.
