Memory Maker Question (3 seperate families)

I have a strange question (as I often do).

I bought the MM and added it to my reservation. My 19 yo dd is on her own reservation and then my parents are traveling and their confirmation number is connected to ours.

Obviously the six of us will get our photos together and if my parents want to get in some with us I know they can but my weird question is can they have their own photo taken individually or would they not be able to since they didn't technically buy the MM?

They can have separate pictures taken of them and you will still have access to download them using the MM entitlement.

If any of the group is off on their own, any pictures they have taken will also be available to you to download.

If you manage their MDE profile(s), you don't need to do anything extra with in MDE.
If they have their own MDE account(s), you will need to be connected as friends and they will need to allow you to view/purchase their PhotoPass pictures.

Disney doesn't care who is in the photos (with or without you). It could be the nice family behind you in line that you bonded with for 60 minutes.

All that matters is that it's either your Magic Band that's scanned or any other band that's linked to your account (friends and family stuff). There's one setting you need to check for friends and family (something like giving permission to see their photos, but I haven't set that up in ages since it's always the same family that travel with me). I'm sure someone else knows the setting to check and can weigh in. But one that's set up you can get as many photos as your family can stand! I used to have 3 or 4 disks of photos when they came on CDs.

so I bought Photopass and so did my friend. We are both traveling with our husbands and our kids. If we have a group photo taken with one Photopass we would just log into Memory Maker and can see each other's photos? That is AWESOME. Also, if I have Photopass but my husband doesn't and we split up can he still get photos take or only if he has my band?

If you are going at the same time, you could actually share a memory maker. I would try to get one refunded and split the cost. If he is on your account, he can also get pictures taken.

we were there in August with a group of 14. we had 3 linked ressies and used 1 account for everyone. we had many different groupings and got all of them
