Memory Maker Quantity of Photos

I have been reading some posts and was wondering how people end up with hundreds of photos on the memory maker disc? are there that many opportunities to have photos taken? We will be going to all 4 parks

I came home one trip with 2 and a half cd's filled of photopass pictures....

It's DEFINITELY possible to get hundreds of photos (granted, that is also with the editing/borders while also keeping originals). However, MM includes ride photos, certain dining location photos, and all the pictures from any character greets and any spots around the park that you stop, and there'll be multiple pictures at each location.

All you have to do is utilize it! Stop whenever you see a photographer with not a huge line, ask if they can do a few magic shots, get some with just you, some with just the kids, mix it up, do some funny poses! Check different locations at different times of day, as photographers rotate, and depending on the location of the sun they might not be there yet/still.

And definitely if you're thinking of it, pre order it!

There were less opportunities for us this year than in years past, but we still ended up with somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-300 for five days in the parks. That would be roughly 50 per day.

A few things to keep in mind: Most of the characters have photopass photographers and the better ones at the characters get at least 3-5 shots. Those add up fast

We stopped at many photographers. I even make a point to get at least two shots walking down Main Street for different views and just in case someone's camera is malfunctioning. And I stop at any in unique locations (ie various countries around Epcot)

There's also the magic shots. My kids have become pros at these and ask every single photographer for them. That's normally an extra photo or two every time you stop (all the photographers that do not use a tripod can do at least one magic shot). So those add up to

We just returned from a 9 day trip with 3 families. We had 720 photos after the editing process. All of them downloaded to my computer without any glitches in 15 minutes. Well worth the $149 prepay price. I am really happy that they include all of the ride photos.

As someone noted above, meeting characters adds a lot of photos. If you plan to meet a lot of characters, you can definitely end up with hundreds of photos. If not, it might be harder (but you can still get plenty).
