Is this an accurate list of rides that have photos included in memory maker?

Buzz, Space, Splash, Test Track, Rock n Roller coaster, Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest and Dinosaur

We are going in September. Buzz I believe anyone can get for free, right? Can't you email it to yourself? Splash will be closed, and our group like won't do space. Our group also likely won't do Rock n Roll or TOT. And same with Expedition. Some will do dinosaur.

Trying to figure out if it is worth it, and leaning towards no. Not sure why they don't have more rides with photos... this is 2017! Are there plans to add any more? Maybe with Pandora?

Also, are the photographers at the water parks still?

Frozen Ever After & Seven Dwarfs Mine Train have ride photos. 7DMT also has a ride video. Neither attraction has a PhotoPass kiosk, so you must have a fully functional MagicBand to get the photos & video.

I believe there are also pictures taken at Enchanted Tales with Belle. (At least there used to be).

We have found memory maker to be great for us, We were hesitant at first because we don't really care about ride photos or posed photos with the characters. We could hand the disney photographers our cameras and they would take our picture for us free. BUT. . we learned that when meeting characters, the photographers start taking pictures when you enter the space. We have some great shots of our daughter meeting cinderella, twirling with Alice, and hugging Minnie mouse that we wouldn't have had otherwise. We got great pictures of our daughter playing Chip during Enchanted Tales. On our upcoming trip, our son will get his first haircut, if available there will be a photographer taking pictures of that. I have also read about people getting some great photos by nabbing a not busy photographer and having them snap pictures while watching the parade and the like. Plus, you get several stock photos that are great for scrapbooking.

But you know what is best for your family and your budget. My wife loves having photos, so she feels it is totally worth it.

I would consider the average minimum number of photos to be 1 at each park, 1 at springs, 1 at a waterpark, 1 for every character meet and greet, if you ahve a meal with any photographers then lets add in 1 for each of those.. It's $15 a photo without memory maker so your over the price of memory maker and we haven't even touched the photos and videos from rides.... It's also not including some parks you'll probably get 2 photos like at MK, 1 outside in front of train, 1 at castle. Also the photographers will take 2 or 3 of you so it might actually be 3 or 6 per park you want to keep.

If you like photos and want photos of the whole family, it's well worth it.. if it's your first trip and your on the fence, it's probably a you should get it situation...

Keep in mind, you can always get it after the trip for a cost of only $20 more if your really not sure it's worth it.

Also, remember that the Disney photographers have high powered Nikons, and the picture quality is way better than your average camera phone (or any camera phone really). I have a DL AP, and all photos are included. While we do have a pretty good Nikon, we don't want to always lug it around and risk losing it (It did happen once at DCA and was turned in to lost and found!). I purchased MM on my last WDW trip and do not regret it for a second. I have been able to make a bunch of personalized stuff from Shutterfly, and everything looks really professional.

Something that is worth considering here also is who takes the pictures in your family. I take most of our pictures, and I'm pretty good at it, but I haven't figured out how to take pictures of myself yet, so family pictures that I take tend not to have me in them. Memory Maker photos I get to be in as well. That alone is reason to think seriously about getting it.

Frozen Ever After has an on-ride photo, as does Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Tower of Terror and Mine Train also offer on-ride videos.

I got Memory Maker on our last trip, and it was totally worth it! Don't forget that it is more than just on-ride photos you get. There are hundreds of Cast Members around property with cameras, who are able to take photos and upload to your account. Those will also be free to download if you have Memory Maker.

I've heard rumors for other rides getting PhotoPass, but not 100% sure when.

I believe the email option for Buzz was at DLR, not WDW.

Water park photographers are seasonal (think summer months only) but are still there.
