Memory maker - probably stupid question

Hello all,

After reading numerous reviews and several friends who have used memory maker, I've decided to purchase it for my October trip. I'll be purchasing it in advance obviously, but is it TOO far in advance to purchase now? Or should book it just a few days before I head down? (We'll arrive on Wednesday with first park day Thursday unless Disney bucks with tradition and offers a Wednesday MNSSHP so I could order on Sunday.)

Doesn't matter.

By waiting you risk a price increase (unlikely since they just lowered the price, but certainly possible). And I like having it paid for in advance rather than closer to my trip, but really, it doesn't matter. I often have purchased it when I book the trip, simply because it asks me then and I don't want to forget.

It definitely doesn't matter, but it's not too far. Like msmama said, we bought ours right when we booked the trip.

You'll love it, btw! Just stop for pics whenever you see a photo pass photographer. And you can always ask if they have magic shots, if they don't suggest doing them. We got lots of great pics that way.

Another dumb one - does it then just start as soon as we get pictures taken? Or do I have to do something to let it know I want my window to start?

Ugh, it's something like my 15th trip and I feel like such a newbie!

It'll start automatically as soon as you start getting pics.

And, hey, its fun to check the pics on your device because almost all will show up in MDE only shortly after they're taken!

First family trip we are all in the pictures, and they will take whatever you want. We did some with all of us, just kids, just wife and I. Same with he meet and greets. If you do BBB or JTA, or another experience like those, you will have an obnoxious amount of photos. You will not spend a better $150 on your trip.

All booked. I'm so excited! My daughter will be 4 and a few months; toying with the idea of JTA. She has declined BBB because she doesn't want them to put her hair up.

Actually, Memory Maker starts the first time you download a picture. Anyone can take and peek at Photopass pictures, Memory Maker just lets you download them all freely without having to pay per picture.

They take a ton at Enchanted Tales With Belle, as well.
