Memory Maker outside of Parks???

What are the Memory Maker opportunities outside of the parks??

We were scheduled for a family trip next week but my DH can't go now due to work. My daughters and I are still going. But we decided to not use our Disney tickets and go to Universal instead for a few days. We have an extended family trip with my brother and SIL and nephews next year, so we are just keeping the tickets for that trip.

Anyway, I signed up to do a Memory Maker share so was hoping maybe I could get a couple pictures still and not have the Memory Maker be a total waste!

I have booked Chef Mickeys and I know you get a picture there with the statue/plate (not the characters). And I also have 1900 Park Fare booked and I think you get a picture there with a backdrop. I just saw a photopass picture in front of World of Disney at DTD and so I thought there might be other opportunities offsite.

I just came back and did not see anyone at DTD, although I wish I did, as I was there twice. I went to the Boardwalk, and also didn't see anyone! Maybe I wasn't thinking, because I was under the impression that there wouldn't be anyone.

I went to the Ohana breakfast, and I got some great shots with Stitch, but that's the only character that does the PhotoPass at that breakfast.

We are huge MemoryMaker fans and we get it for every trip. We've never seen PhotoPass anywhere other than the pre-meal photos you listed. At Ohana, we got a picture with a backdrop (no Stitch). Never at DTD or the Boardwalk.

We ate with Stitch last week, and they do the photographer with Stitch during the meal now, instead of the backdrop.

I believe you can save your Memory Maker for your next trip, as well. It only gets activated if you download the photos. So, you can wait until your next trip to use it to its fullest capacity.

ETA: I just re read you post and see that you signed up for a memory maker share. So, that won't help you. I'm sorry I didn't read that right the first time.

At Christmas time they would have photographers at some of the deluxe resorts. We had our picture taken in the lobby of the AK Lodge, in front of the Christmas tree. You may want to call the resorts and ask if they have certain times/places where a photographer can be found.

We were at AKL a couple of years ago in May, and they had a photo pass photographer taking family portraits in the lobby. My mom and I had several pictures taken, so like PP said, call around to the deluxe resorts and see if they have any open sittings planed.

We had picutures done in DTD - The Christmas Store had a photographer with a couple backdropsl, and the topiaries have a phtographer - we also had one done at the boardwalk alst year-

We have found a Photopass Photog outside the entrance of DHS near the main topiary. Noticed during the morning hours rather than in the afternoons.

They are at the dinner shows SOA, HDDR and MBBBQ too.

I have had Memory Maker photos taken a couple of times outside of DHS - at a park, but not in a park.
