Memory Maker/MagicBand/Ride photo quick question (sorry)

Sorry, I have read every thread and do not see this specific question asked/answered.

Just to confirm, I prepurchased Memory Maker and is linked on my MDE account, therefore all 4 Magic Bands should be able to be scanned for Photopass photographers and ride photos? For example, if 2 go on one ride without the other 2, I will still get their ride photos. Is that correct? I have not been there in 4.5 years and I was always the holder of the Photopass card previously LOL

Yes. All of the magic bands will have the photopass. In fact, it can lead to multiple photo's downloaded if all four of you are in the same ride vehicle with your bands.

They will work with older bands on the same MDE account. I gave my older bands to my nieces and nephew for that reason.

Not after the battery dies. The battery life is 2 to 3 years.

Can you still get the photos added to your memory maker at rides if you don't have a band? We're staying offsite this time, and I'm pretty sure our old bands' batteries have died so didn't bother trying to link them.

It's supposed to show up but there are glitches. When we rode Splash 3 consecutive times in September, we stopped and scanned at the touchpoint once. We ended up with 3 photos of other logs and 1 that was of our log - the one photo we stopped to scan our MB at the touchpoint.

It's easier to stop at the Photo touchpoint at the end of the ride rather than to have Photopass search for a correct photo later.

Except for 7DMT, yes.

FEA also requires a working battery.

For ride videos, add ToT to the list (but for the photo, there is screens at the end of the ride)

When donride photos show up. We are using my mother in laws mm and she is not with us. She is in dinsey but with a different group. We rode FEA tonight and our photos are not showing but all photographer photos are showing.

The touchpoint can be found beneath/below the photoscreen where your photo is projected.

These other 3 people that you mention, do you control their accounts (accounts made under yours) or do they have separate accounts?
If you made their accounts under your own, you are fine!
If they have their own, you need to make sure they have you linked as friends and family in THEIR accounts, and that in THEIR accounts the option is checked to allow you to view and purchase their photos.
If this option is not checked, any photo they scan onto their band/attraction photos will not show up for you

This is important! They need to give YOU permission to download THEIR photos. (which makes sense if you think about it, because anyone can take pictures at WDW, but MM people are the ones that get to download unlimited photos).

We just returned and this could not have been easier. Scanning the ride photos was great as I have never wanted to spend the money on those pics before LOL.
The only thing I will mention is that some of the ride photos took almost 24 hours to show up in MDE. The rest were there almost instantaneously.
Lots of lines for Photopass photographers!!! I heard that MM is now included with AP holders so that makes sense. Just longer than I have even seen in the past.

This system was so easy to use, no lost photos, no worrying who has the card. I really enjoyed it and got some great shots of my family.
