Memory Maker=Magic Band?

Hi all! I'm not sure if this has already been discussed somewhere else...

I think I remember reading somewhere that guests staying offsite can get a magic band if they pre-purchase Memory Maker before their trip. Am I imagining reading this, or has anyone else seen/heard of this?

Everything I've seen says if you don't have a magic band you have to go to will call/guest services and pick up a card (similar to the Photopass Plus card).
