Memory Maker: linked to MDE, good for two trips?

I added the Memory Maker to our trip package that we are taking in December.

This week, I made last minute plans to join my daughter for the Halloween party this Friday.

The Memory Maker is showing up in the MDE, but my question is . . . will it scan and add photos on rides we go on Friday night? (We'll have our bands as we have FP+ set up.)

And if it does, does that mess up using it as purchased for the week in December? Or is MM across multiple stays?

Memory Maker has nothing to do with taking photos, that is free. Memory Maker is a flat rate to download. It starts the day you download your first photo and lasts for 30 days. If you don't use it, it stays in your account until you do.

Pictures taken in the parks disappear after 45 days from the date it was taken. If your trips are close enough to each other that you can download your photos before they start disappearing and finish within 30 days then yes, you can use it for however many trips or days are in that window.. In other words, say you wait until day 44 to start, that gives you 74 days from the first picture taken until the last one (and downloading it) of pictures.

So if we end up seeing any photos in the MM account from Friday, we would have until Nov. 16 to download them.

But that starts the clock ticking that ends on Dec. 16, exactly ONE day into our Christmas trip.

Not gonna work. But now I know not to download anything from Friday. That just saved me a world of hurt come Christmas-time. Thank you!

It asks you if you want to activate it when you start to download. You can still download and pay per picture if there is anything from friday that you find worth paying for. I think it's $10 per download per photo but you'll need to check that price.

I have booked 2 trips, back to back. One with my DH and 2 DDs. Then they leave on Wed and I move to POP and my sister and niece join me Wed and Thur. So my Memory Maker that I purchased with my first trip will continue to work during the second leg? It doesn't end when I check out of the first resort?

Correct, it has nothing to do with your trip. It is prepaid for 30 days of unlimited photopass downloads once you activate it. To ensure i'm being clear, the actual downloading of whatever photos are in your photopass account. Photos disappear from the account separate from the download window.
