memory maker linked to magic band question

If i purchase Memory Maker, what else do I need to do so that's it's added to my magic band on checkin?

I *believe* that as long as it is linked to you in MDE it should be automatically on your magic band.

However I haven't used it yet so can't confirm if that is how it works in practice - only the theory of how it should work
