Hello this was our 1st trip and was our 1st time getting memory maker. I can view all my pictures no problems there. There is buy the print at $14.99 or download it.
If we bought the memory maker what did we actually buy. I could of gotten all those pictures with a card they give you at the park.
I don't know if I am missing something with this.
Thanks
Jay

If you paid the $169 or whatever it is for Memory Maker, you should be able to download all your photos for free. Was the Memory Maker linked to your account?

If you have purchased Memory Maker you do not need to buy prints for $14.99, you can just download the photos to your computer and back them up and then, if you'd like, you can print them at Walmart, or snapfish or shutterfly, or something like that, for much cheaper. Or make digital scrapbooks. Those digital copies are yours to do whatever you would like to do with them.

If you hadn't bought memory maker then you would be paying $14.99 per download, the $169/199 for memory maker gives you the downloads for free. If you want prints then it is cheaper to download to a memory stick and take to your local photo printer to be done than to order from Disney.

thank you. Another question. Once I download them are they gone from memory maker?
This is what I am thinking download all the pics and then go back into memory maker and then add things to them and download them again with all the little extras. does this make any sense?
thanks

The borders and stickers? Add them NOW. It will save a copy of the originals and a copy of every edit you do and save. Once you are done, THEN you download. It will download everything.

And once you've downloaded, copy them to an external memory drive, to a CD, to your fave photo website. Backups are good!

You can download as often as you like. After the first download, the memory maker is active for 30 days. Since photos are active in the system for 45 days, it might be a good idea to start the download 2 weeks after the first photo was taken to maximize the time for photo editing.

They are not gone once you download them. You have 30 days from the time you make the first download and they are in the system for a total of 45 days, I believe. I downloaded them once before I added any borders or edited them. I was going to edit all of them first, but a couple of photos got deleted accidentally or got screwed up, and I lost those originals. I do photomanipulations and artwork on my iPad and I preferred what I can do with the originals vs what Disney has for borders and stuff. I only did a few of those. I found that on a few that I added their borders to, the resolution became very blurry. So, for me, it was better to make sure I had my originals before I messed with any editing or borders, but I realize maybe other people may have a different opinion and experience. I had difficulty with downloading mine. It probably didn't help that all I have is an iPad to work with, and I had to borrow a friends really old laptop and go to Dunkin Donuts to use their wifi to get my photos. I actually ended up paying for a disc from Disney.
