Memory maker extension question

The extension to allow 60 day Memory Maker access is just to download photos already taken, right? If I go twice in a 60 day period, could I just do the Memory Maker extension or would I need to purchase a second Memory Maker package for a stay a month and a half after the first one?

I haven't tried it, but that's the way I understand it as well...
