Memory Maker & exchange rate

I only have a couple more days to make a decision...I didn't buy the memory maker in advance of our trip last year, and then ended up paying more to buy all the photos when we returned home. This year I was going to get it for sure, but, I'm in Canada, and the exchange rate is horrible! The $169 will turn into closer to $240 for me. Would you still get Memory Maker at that price? We have 2 character meals booked (CRT & MBBbq- although I'm not sure the BBQ has photo pass photographers) and FP+ for splash and seven dwarfs. I can't make up my mind. Please help...

why dont you look into doing a share with another family going around the same time to cut your cost?

I just read up on it and shucks! Wish I had learned of this sooner. We leave in 5 days. Don't think I have enough time to arrange or join one. At least I know about it for next time! Thanks for the tip.

We leave in 5 days also but don't arrive to WDW until 7/23 (spending the first half of vacation at Universal) How does the shared memory maker work? Our WDW days are 7/23 - 7/27 would that work ?

Someone has to be in charge and link everyone to one MM account in MDE. I just started reading about it tonight. Wish I knew more about setting it up cause our dates would have been perfect.

I think you just have to "invite" someone to share your MDE, send them an email invite. I was going to purchase my MM in the next day or so but would be willing to split it if we can figure it out.
