Memory Maker - Annual Price Increase?

I'm going to visit WDW resort next May/June and will most likely purchase memory maker for our photo downloads. Right now it's $149 if you purchase in advance.

I looked up when the last price increase on Memory Maker was and it was last December. Does anyone know if they increase the price for this on an annual basis? If so I definitely will purchase it now to lock in the $149 price, but if not then I'd like to wait until after the holidays to purchase it.

I know that much but as an example WDW ticket price increases have occurred on an annual basis in February since 2014. That's not to say they'll continue to be updated in February each year but it lends itself to a bit more certainty when forecasting when to buy park tickets for a summer 2017 visit.

I'm basically asking that same question but of Memory Maker since I can't really find a price history on it.

None of the Photopass products have really existed long enough to get a trend like with tickets. I think in the last 8 years or so there has been the Photopass CD, Photopass+ and now Memory Maker. All 3 of those are roughly equivalent, but different enough to sometimes warrant the different prices. They actually reverted a price increase on Memory Maker if I recall correctly a while back. I think when the price did change there were rumbles on the various boards just like with ticket increases, so if you want to wait just keep a solid eye on the various boards and keep watch.

The price recently went down actually. It was $169 in advance and $199 after the trip for awhile. now it's back to 149/169.

THis is correct. Last December they bumped the price back down to $149/169. We had pre-purchased it for our December trip at the $169/199 price. Right before our trip, they dropped the price and ended up giving us a $20 credit for the difference.
