memory maker and photopass??

Been some years since ive been to Disney. We always bout the photopass deal before are trip. So I see this memory maker looks like photopass? Did this replace photopass? Are they separate? Can memory maker and/or photopass be purchased if you stay offsite? Thanks

PhotoPass is the photo-taking service, which still exists. The PhotoPass deal you're talking about is the pre-purchase deal on the PhotoPass CD, which you can still order here. Memory Maker actually replaces the PhotoPass + CD, which included ride and dining photos as well as photos taken by PhotoPass photographers. The main difference between Memory Maker (which you can order here, by the way) and PhotoPass + is that Memory Maker is a strictly digital product, while with PhotoPass + you could get your pictures on a CD. Both Memory Maker and the PhotoPass Archive CD can be purchased by people staying off site.
