Memory Maker --- ahhhhh

So we got to rooms at POP century (we have four daughters) so they are having it so we have conjoining rooms. Wife had to be one the reservation for one room and I had to be on the other (minors without an adult type issue)

I bought Memory maker and it says its good for only one room. Issue I have is it will be linked to my band so when my wife rides with the 3 older daughters and I stay back with the youngest the ride photos will not load to our memory maker.

is this true.. anyway around it?

Give your wife your band before she gets on the ride?

All the bands linked to the room should be linked to memory maker. As long as you have one person from that room riding/scanning their band/whatever, you should get all the pictures.

That makes sense. I have two of the girls oldest and youngest on my reservation and she has the other two.

So in total 3 of us will "have" memory maker (based on my reservation) so we wouldn't have to swap bands because one of the girls will already be linked to the memory maker.

I used MM way back in Feb. but at that time I was "owner" of MM but my friend and husband could both see pictures from their MDE accounts because I had checked box allowing sharing of pictures. MY husband also used MM on his trip to WDW 3 days after I got home so in sense it was another room. He could view pictures but couldn't order them I had too from my account.

My sister is the one who actually ordered the MM. She was in a 2 bedroom with my parents. My immediate family had a 1 bedroom of our own. Our reservations were linked. All of us were able to add pics to the MM account. My sister is the only one to actually download them. It worked very well for us.

I will be in a room with my niece and then my sis, BIL and 2 nephews in another room. It is separate ressie numbers but all linked to my MDE account (my sis doesn't have one). I am thinking about getting MM but want to make sure that we will all be able to have pics added even if I'm not on the ride. For the life of me, I don't know why I'm having problems understanding how this works.

In your friends and family list on MDE, you can check mark a box that says "this friend can view and purchase my photos." Your sister needs to create an MDE account. Or, she can get a Photopass card from the first photographer she goes to and give you that card to add to your Memory Maker account.

Thank you....will this work for rides as well? Say for instance I sit back with my niece (not 44 inches) while they ride space. Will we be able to add the ride photo? It's my understanding ride photos and character meals are included. I have lots of character meals planned but I'll be there so they can scan my band.

Absolutely worked for us. My sister is the one with the MM (officially). My husband and I rode Tower of Terror without her (in fact, she and her family were back at the hotel). And the ride photo was automatically added to the MM account via my MB. Any of us could have our MB scanned and the photo was added to my sister's MM.

Ok....great. I thought that is how it's supposed to work but wasn't sure and def didn't want.to pay for 2 MMs. So as long as MBs are linked in the same MDE we should be ok?
