Hi. Off to Disney next weekend and wondering if there is anything I need to do activate our Memory Maker package which is apparently included in our 14day ultimate tickets? TIA.

When you have your first memory maker photo taken and they scan your magic band, it should show pretty soon afterwards on your disney experience account so you don't need to do anything in terms of activating it - Have a lovely holiday

Great, thank you. Will we just scan our tickets as opposed to our Magic Bands (we don't have them as we're not staying in Disney this time)? Having said that, my sister and her family do have them as they are annual pass holders. Our tickets are all linked online so will we be able to view each others if we all have Memory Maker? Thanks again.

Yep, once you validate your tickets at Guest Services the first time, it will enable the Memory Maker package and your photos should start rolling up in your MDE app shortly after that! Because of course your next stop will be the PhotoPass photographers to get that Castle picture! ;)

144 Days to go before I am in Disney. :yay:I want to purchase Memory Maker should I purchase now or wait till it gets closer? I know if you purchase prior it is cheaper but does that price ever change? I thought I paid more than $149 2 years ago.?

I read in the app, "A MagicBand is required to receive certain attraction videos and other digital content." Does anyone know if these are the stock photos/videos only? TY!

rides such as 7 dwarves mine train will automatically add the ride pictures (and video) to the MDX account once it remotely reads a guest's Magic Band

if you don't have a magic band, you don't get the ride pictures and videos. There is no gift shop where you can add or purchase them.
No band, no picture.

I think Frozen also works in the same way.

Most of the rides (if not all) automatically add the pictures when they detect Magic Bands, but you'll find screens at the end of the ride with mickey heads you can tap your ticket on, to add pictures (tap the mickey head below the screen showing your picture, or go to a CM at the counter if you don't see it.

but if you want Frozen and 7DMT, you need a band.

There are also some rides such as it's a small world and rock n rollercoaster that advertise your name on digital signs before and after the ride due to a swipe of your magic band which are pretty fun to see.

Ours is included (it says son my booking print out, so, I guess, I can prove it if I have to sort it out at concierge) but it doesn't show up on MDE? Is this usual because it is a UK package?

it's included, that's the reason why it doesn't show in the memory maker section. (this section is only for the memory maker that are purchaased as standalone.

You will see your memory maker on your ticket line.
this will say "14 Day Disney's Ultimate Ticket (with Memory Maker for Adult ticket only)" and that's the only place your memory maker will show

there is nothing to sort or prove at concierge, because you won't be using Memory Maker during your stay

Memory Maker is the download entitlement, allowing you to download all of your pictures, when you're back home.
It has nothing to do with your ability to have picture taken at the parks, and there is nothing to redeem before using. You don't need a card, you'll use your magic band.
