I don't know Andy - you're starting to become a regular on that bridge....thinking about another job change?!!! Hmmmm - Verandah Man could become CAPT Andy!!!
Hey Andy - so you did make it after feeling so bad - man oh man some folks have all the luck - that picture is worth a thousand words and WOW the memories being made especially for your mom's birthday - anyhow hope to see ya all tomorrow.

I have a question about the 'special' birthday cakes you arranged for. We will probably be having a DIS celebration lunch (many birthdays, anniversaries, a vow renewal AND a wedding in our group) on our second sea day. I'd love to be able to arrange for a 'real' cake or two. How far in advance did you have to arrange for the cake? Was there a choice of flavor/frosting? Was there a charge?
That is a beautiful picture Andy. I'm glad you and your family got to go on the bridge you deserve it. Hopefully we'll get to next year. Enjoy your last night. I can't wait to read about your day at CC and on the bridge.
I haven't taken the time to read the posts that were made to this thread since I posted early this morning. I will go back and read them over the weekend as we have been very busy today. I just spent the last hour writing Friday's Castaway Cay Journal Entry into my blog. I also added 12 photos that were taken today. No one got to sound the horn on this trip to the bridge, but my family members didn't care about that, they were just so excited for the invitation, and to see Captain Mickey there, with Captain Tom, was icing on the cake.
OK, we have a very busy morning ahead of us, so I'm going to get back to our stateroom and get some much needed shut-eye.
I hope you have enjoyed traveling with my family this past week.
Bye Andy, and we'll see you back on land tomorrow! Have a safe trip home and we all can't thank you enough for what you have done this week. Loved every minute of it.
It's 5:15am on Saturday morning, the ship is now turning and preparing to dock at the DCL Terminal, yes in just a couple of hours we will have to debark this magical ship so that the next set of guests can board. Everyone take good care of "OUR" girl. We most likely won't be cruising on the Magic until 2008. Angelina has already put in a request that she would like a cruise for her high school graduation gift, a gift, I will be happy to give!!!
It's been fun this week, now it's time to get myself prepared to go back to the real world!!!
To any of the DCL CM's who might be reading this, "THANKS SO MUCH" for the past week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Andy, I was reading your blog, and I had tears in my eyes. Becasue I know In a little over a two months I am going to feel the same way you do.
It will be a sad Saturday after haveing a wounderfull time on the Magic all week. Take care and have a safe trip home Flo
