Memories halloween wedding

Hello
This is my first post (although I have been reading on here for a few days now)
We are eloping from the Uk for a small, no frills, gothic, wedding at Disney this halloween - Just me my fiance and my 2 daughters
Has anyone else on here had a memories wedding?

We just did a Memories vow renewal last Monday at Luau Beach and we loved it! It was the perfect little package for us.

Thank you so much for your responses that last link took me AGES to read lol But was soooo helpful
We are soooo looking forward to it - a wedding, honeymoon and holiday of a life time rolled into one... and on our favourite day of the year too

There seems to be a few disappointments along the way for quite a few disney brides - but we are keeping it simple and simply hoping for a quick vegas style wedding with as much fun and as few complications as possible...

We have Kathleen as our coordinator and rev. Tim Herring as our officiant and we are simply delighted that they could both accomodate a memories wedding on a Wednesday.

So far we have no plans to do any add on's - the basic package meets our needs, and we will be wearing black from head to foot, probably freaky contact lenses and maybe even a little fake blood I'm just looking forward to getting legally wed to my soul mate in front of our 2 gorgeous kids at our dream holiday destination and then bogging off to the nearest fast food place for a big pizza or burger.

I am looking forward to reading more and getting to know you guys a bit better x

That sounds like so much fun!!! I'd be tempted to do the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party afterwards and get the Photopass...that way you could stay dressed up and get lots of professional pictures!!

You're welcome!! If you don't mind a little tip, I'd wipe off the fake blood before the party, as they discourage anything that might frighten a young child. Now there's a tip I didn't think I'd ever give a DISbride!! LOL. Good luck, it sounds like fun and wonderful memories, and that's what a wedding should be! It seems like I remember one couple dressing like Jack & Sally...or maybe they just had a Nightmare Before Christmas theme, I can't remember, but it sounded cute.

FYI, Halloween party tickets do sell out quickly on the actual day, so you'd want to get them early if you're interested in attending ON Halloween. They just went on sale May 1st.

I have just booked MNSSHP tickets for our wedding day 31st Oct and I have made our first dining reservation for Tony's italian at MK for 6:15pm for 31st too... I am so freaking looking forward to this halloween!!!!

I LOVE Halloween so this sounds like such a blast. Just be aware I think the Halloween party on actual Halloween can be pretty busy. But I'm sure it will still be fun!

There has been a slight change to plans... we are now not eating at Tony's, we are booked in to Cinderella's royal table for 4:20pm instead
