I went a couple of years as a Memories member so it was free to get in. I'm probably going to go to the one this year which is just 30 minutes from me versus in near Chicago which is harder to park, etc. I did attend some classes that I thought were great, but I don't think I'd pay the price for most of the classes (after looking at them for this year). But there are some great vendors. When I went 2 years ago the place where the vendors were was very spread out and you could move about easily (unlike the crampness of the Midwest Scrapbook Convention, which is nice but their vendor space was so cramped but I know they moved it to another location this and I wasn't able to go).
I think it's worth going. And if there are classes still open, you can sign up for them there as well, in case something catches your eye. When I went 2 years ago it was an hour and 15 minute drive but I felt it was worth it.
