Memorial weekend crowds

Our family is arriving late Sat May 29--checking into PC. The next day we have ressies for BWV so we are just going to hang out at the pool and maybe do DQ or shop Monday. Do you think the crowds will be thinning out for Tuesday and the rest of the week?

When we have visited during this same time period, the crowds seemed to thin out starting on Monday and definitely were thinner Tuesday and later in the week. There will be some extra numbers due to Gay Days activities; however, the only day I'd expect to have extremely large crowds due to Gay Days would be Saturday, June 5, at the MK. You can check the Gay Days Calendar to see what activities may affect crowd sizes at different locations.

Thanks for the bump and the answer! That was what I was hoping to hear. I have heard about the Gay Days and we are heading over to Universal Fri, Sat and Sun to avoid the MK crowd
and DTD too.

We were there same time last year and had a wonderful time, it didn't feel as crowded to me as our trip in November 2000 did. We were also there during Gay Days and it posed no problem at all. We arranged our itinerary to avoid their "designated" park for that day and that worked fine. I plan to go back same time next year.

Just to piggy-back on this. I'm only coming down for the weekend (Fri- Mon). It's an "extra" trip for us so if we just end up enjoying the resort it's not a big deal but any suggestions for which park/which days?

I would try to hit MK on Friday (not sure what time you guys are getting in) before the weekend crowd gets there. Then just decide what order you want to hit the other parks.
