memorial service or other - to mark Bobs Passing?

I was wondering if anything has been planned - memorial service or other - to mark Bobs Passing? Sorry if this information is already out there - Im suffering from Sunshine deficit disorder. Thx - Whip

As far as I know....there is nothing being planned.

Bob is never far from our hearts or our heads...and I cant think of a better or more fitting memorial than that.

The efforts of the Podcast crew and the DIS Community to support Give Kids the World are a continuing tribute to Bob and his big heart.

And, of course, I'll always remember Bob when I enjoy a Dole Whip.

I agree whole heartedly Kevin. We often find ourselves thinking of things Bob said or did when it comes to Disney. My wife even told me the other day that she finds herself telling clients at work "...the worst they can do is say no.....they can't hit ya."

I wish I could. There is not a day that goes by that I don't have at least one Bawb thought. I have trouble putting into words exactly why he impacted my life so much, but he definitely did. I am thankful that I had the privilege of meeting him, and that I started listening to the podscast when I did, so that he became a part of my life in that I view and think of things differently now.

I have a morning planned at DHS and I have lunch planned at HBD that day, but around 3:00pm or so, I would gladly meet you for a Dole Whip in Memory of Bob.

I'll also be in Disneyland on the weekend before. I would love to host a Dole Whip for Bawb meet. 2 or 3pm is a good time for Dole Whip. Not lunch. Not dinner. Meet at the Tiki Room queue garden. Then we can get our Dole Whips and take them into the Tiki Room for the show. (Yes - that is encouraged at DL. In fact, one clerk at the Dole Whip booth works the queue side of the stand.)
