I've been so busy lately with color guard tryouts, which were Saturday, and finals coming up and work, that I haven't been able to stop by in a while.
So how was everyone's memorial day?
It was so hot here (97 degrees) and my marching band did 2 parades. It was horrible. Our uniforms are black velour sleeveless jumpsuits with black velour jakcets that zip up in the back. It was so hot. And people were asking us if we were hot. No, not at all, we only did 2 parades in 90 degree weather wearing black velour jumpsuits. Who would be hot doing that? Oh well, though. Yesterday was not a good day for me between that and finding out who the drum majors (one of which I am not happy with) and the color guard captains (one of which NONE of us are happy with). But then I went to a pool with a friend of mine and everything was all better. LOL.
