Memorial Day SSR.

Can't wait. For the 2nd year in a row we are heading to SSR for Memorial day long weekend! Getting there early Friday the 25th and leaving late Tuesday! Looking forward to relaxing by the pool, Extra Magic Hours at MK, and enjoying all the delicious food and entertainment. WOO HOO!

That's exactly what we did a few years ago (as a surprise for DS's birthday which is that week). I hope we can do it again sometime - it used to be a lot more affordable to do a long weekend before airfare got so crazy expensive. HAVE FUN!!

Oh have fun! I cancelled our trip as DD wanted to attend not only her own, but her friends' senior proms. I tried to talk her out of it

We will be down there at the same time - this will be our first trip where we have no plans to do the 4 parks but rather just do the water parks/pool. We are also staying at SSR - since you have done this before do you have any recommendations/favorite buildings at SSR that you enjoy?

I know our favorite is Congress Park, it has a nice pool and a beautiful view of DTD,and the bus from there isn't bad either.

Count us in too! We are doing SSR, no parks and will be there May 22 - 29!
Can't wait to relax and just do whatever!

We're going down 5/23 -5/30, staying at AKV. Its our 1st trip as DVC members & our first trip as parents; we're bringing our 15month old twins

We have the same basic plans to just relax & swim. I made a couple ADRs for character meals, but only at other resorts since I'm kind of scared of going to the parks during a busy holiday time...... buuuut DH wants to at least try to go, maybe do a couple days & arrive super early since the boys can't last two long anyway.

We love Congress park too. Nice pool and SSR is so relaxing. Since we are Florida residents we have our annuals for the parks. But to be honest when we come to our DVC we usually take advantage of the extra hours at the parks. Relax the rest of the time. LAst time we did MK from 12 am to 2 am and got on every ride in less than 5 minutes. That was awesome. same with DS too. Hope to see you all there.!

Checking in Sunday the 27th (we arrive in LBV on the 25th and staying off property for a couple of days), then we are there until June 8th.

I plan on spending many an evening in the hot tub at Congress Park.
