I inadvertently overdid the wedding favors.
MY plan was to have Mouse Ear hats with all of my guests' names on them to be use as place-cards AND favors. So we had that.
I had forgotten earlier in planning that I had agreed to the large bars of chocolates wrapped in personalized wrapping that my husband designed. And they were awesome. Our first date, engagement date and wedding date were the same day, only different years, so this was on the wrapped and was very cute.
Then, my mom shows up at the wedding reception with a surprise. She had clear but tinted soaps made each with a little Disney figure (like a Cinderella, a Beast, etc.) in them wrapped in my wedding colors in tulle. So she handed those out to everyone.
And finally, our centerpieces were also favors! We had the Mickey icon topiary in a cute little pot at each table. Since we only had 50 guests, pretty much each family got one to take home.
