I've just read an article about the "Importance of Wedding Favours".
The article states:. It is usually a good idea to find something that suits the theme of the wedding and is both long lasting and practical.
The article gave two ideas. One was a sun & surf travel bag with for instance sunblock sunglasses included.
Another was a wine bottle stopper and chocolate almonds.
My dh & I married on his birthday 6 days after Valentine's Day. We gave miniture black and red coloured boxes of "Pot o' Gold" (red lettering) chocolates b/c we are of Irish heritage as were many of our guests. The boxes had a gold coloured heart shaped brooch pin on the top of them.
They were a hit but that was 43 yrs ago this Feb. 20th
weddings have become more elaborate imho over the decades.
Any ideas for or memorable wedding favours come to mind in your wedding guest history? Maybe your own?.
Then for fun perhaps humourous ones or flops!
Happy "almost" Valentine's Day!
