Also, Concierge and Platinum Castaway Club Members do not select a time as they board in group 1.

Tuesday, huh? And mine still are nowhere to be found. I really hate waiting. Oh well, at least we don't actually need the documents, but I still like getting them.Just up the road from you, we got ours on Tuesday.
Thank you for the fast response. I was worried for a minute there. We did the online check in, got our docs and now the hard part!! Waiting...
Thanks again,
Tracie
I thought you could only do online checkin when you were within 10 days? Am I missing something here???...smjj

Found it and filled it out. However on the DVC website our Member's Cruise does show up and the instructions state at 10 day from check-in a special online link will appear. We have used this in the past for our resort check-in and it works great. Since it was showing this cruise, I bet a lot of DVC members taking the cruise will wait until the 10 day window. I wonder if it will appear and/or work for them??...smjj
Remember, you can participate in Online Check-In Service at your convenience within 10 days of your arrival for all Disney Vacation Club Resorts (excluding The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa). As soon as Online Check-In Service is available for your reservation, an alert window will appear on this page.
The message is pretty clear that online check-in is only for DVC resort stays.
The cruises only appear as an upcoming vacation if you used points.
Does the member cruise count towards your silver/gold/platinum status? I would assume not but I thought I'd ask.
When the kids finally leave for college, Member cruise here we come![]()
I missed it and I don't think is it that clear, maybe it does state something like that but it is a DVC special Member's Cruise using DVC points and shows up on the DVC Member's site so I guess I am just not that smart. Thanks for educating me though!!...smjj
I suspect part of the reason they don't announce details ahead of time it that it's subject to change do to schedule conflicts. It could also just be the managment which is changing. If you haven't seen the other posts, Jim Lewis is no longer President of DVC and no longer with Disney.
I'm new to this, have read stuff befor but never posted. does anyone know why jim lewis is out?. I also preordered my shirts but now realize the small I ordered might not fit. Looked at the size I bought last year and it was a medium. Wonder if I will be able to exchange it for the next size if t doesn't fit.
I'm also taking disney transport didn't know what time to put so I picked one randomly. called dvc to add the transportation and when I asked what time pick up at bwv would be , was told I would find out day befor the cruiseI am using DCL transportation and it still asked me for an arrival time during check in??
eroinm thanks so much for the link about jim lewis. It was a very interesting read. I own 2 other timeshares in hawaii through westin and the maintance fees have gone up significantly from whe we first purchased, most due to taxing of timeshare by the state and some other issues. I would think the maintanance in Aulani would be higher than all the other resorts for tax and insurance issues aone

There are some other threads on DVC Mousecellaneous addressing the issues of Jim Lewis and Aulani. Please visit those threads to discuss there as we are keeping this thread on topic only for the DVC Member Cruise. Thank you!![]()
