If I get the Membership Magic Beyond, can I purchase the discounted Disneyland tickets for family (not in the same household) or friends to use? If so, do I need to be there for them to use the tickets? Thank you!

This page gives the answer: https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/membership-magic-beyond-terms-and-conditions. I added in red I think what answers your question.

Weird part is for WDW it says Traveling Party but DL does specifically state living in your household.

Purchase of Disneyland® Resort 3-Day Weekday Theme Park Ticket With Lightning Lane Multi Pass

From time to time, Members enrolled in the Optional Benefit Program are granted the ability to purchase up to eight (8), 3-Day, 1-Park per day tickets with Lightning Lane Multi Pass (“DLR Tickets”). Each DLR Ticket allows admission to one (1) Disneyland® Resort theme park per day (for a total of three (3) theme park visits) Monday through Friday only and provides Lightning Lane Multi Pass for those dates.
  • DLR Tickets must be purchased during the 2025 Benefit Season on or before December 29, 2025. Purchase cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.
  • DLR Tickets require the Member to choose the dates of visit at the time of purchase in order to make park reservations for such dates. Park reservations are subject to availability. DLR Tickets are valid for use on weekdays beginning on January 12, 2025, subject to park reservations, and expire thirteen (13) days after first use or on December 31, 2025, whichever occurs first.
  • DLR Tickets do not have to be used on consecutive dates. The price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price. To learn more about upgrades, click HERE.
  • The price of DLR Tickets is determined and made available by Disney Destinations, LLC and may be adjusted at any time without notice, in its discretion.
  • DLR Tickets can only be purchased by the Member enrolled in the Optional Benefit Program who must call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 or (407) 566-3800; purchase of DLR Tickets cannot be made online or in-person.
  • DLR Tickets may only be purchased by the Member enrolled in the Optional Benefit Program for themselves and up to seven (7) of their immediate family living in their household, for up to a total of eight (8) DLR Tickets per the 2025 Benefit Season.
  • DLR Tickets are eligible to add the Park Hopper option for an additional fee.
  • If you modify a DLR Ticket to add an eligible option, you will need to pay the price of the option plus any changes to the price of the DLR Ticket since your original purchase. No refund or credit is given for any changes.
  • DLR Tickets may become unavailable for purchase at any time.
  • DLR Tickets and options are nonrefundable, nontransferable and must be used by the same person on all days. DLR Tickets exclude activities/events separately priced or not open to the general public. Parks, attractions and other offerings subject to availability, closures and change or cancellation without notice or liability.
  • Any alteration or defacing of a DLR Ticket will render it null and void.
  • Presentation of valid identification may be required in connection with use of a DLR Ticket.
  • DLR Tickets are subject to the Disneyland® Resort Ticket Terms and Conditions.

As shown above, the official policy is that the Member Magic Disneyland tickets are available only to people in the household of the DVC member who purchased Membership Magic.

When you purchase the tickets, you will need to name the specific individuals using them but you do not need to be present when the tickets are used. The tickets were delivered digitally; I assigned them to people in my Disney account then sent screenshots of the digital tickets to my family members.
