membership card

How long does it take to get your membership card? We closed through The Timeshare Store (great job) on Oct. 7 and have already received the book with the points chart and a post card to sign up for the member website, but no membership card. I do have our member number. I already called member services to make our first reservations. But don't I need to show my card to buy annual passes, etc.? Not that I am anxious or anything.

Cards are processed by a outside vendor in bulk. As soon as they have the minimum, they will print and mail them. I've seen them printed in a week and as long as six weeks.

If you need your card at WDW, you can pick one up at the SSR Preview Center.

I knew someone on here would have the answer. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. I researched for 2 years before purchasing DVC and now that we are members I keep thinking of other questions.

We closed October 12 from the DVC store and got our book and I've already made our ressies Just thinking the other day about our cards.

we signed in sept and got out cards in december!! took FOREVER!!!!

Bought direct. Points available in a day or 2. We got on the website quick too. All the papers were in a timely fashion. But, it took about 2 months from our initial verbal transaction ( I bought on the phone) to get the member cards for us. Although, it did not interfere with anything because I had access for ressies etc. Only thing would matter for is to show for AP and other perks as the OP mentioned.

Our membership cards arrived about 10 days after getting our welcome home package.
