So Safari loaded the home page but took forever and I never got logged on. I tried it at work on IE6 (who even know that still existed ) and it works fine everytime.
I did clear cookies on it last night but I'll get my husband to try clearing all the others as I am not familiar with Mac OS.
I usually check the site 2-3 times per day using Windows 7 + Firefox and it is extremely rare that I am unable to get in. It happened once in the past week--and even then I simply did a refresh on my browser and it immediately worked. Prior to that I don't recall any difficulties getting in over a period of several months.
The public address is www.dvcmember.com. However, when you type that into your browser, it will redirect you to a more complicated address under the disney.go.com domain.
One suggestion that I can offer is to either type in the "www.dvcmember.com" address each time or make sure that your browser bookmark/shortcut is pointing to that exact address--NOT the more complex redirect.
It is possible that Disney's web designers change the redirect periodically. If you have an old redirect bookmarked, it makes sense that the session could fail.
There are periods late at night where member-specific account information is unavailable. Even then you should still be able to get into the site itself which will have a message that your account info is temporarily not available.
Haven't had any problems. Load on my PC using IE and on my iPhone with Safari. The only times it would not load on the PC I would receive a java script error and a message to try again latter when the update is complete.
