Member website asked me to change password?

Can’t log into website. It sends me an e mail with 6 digit code which has happened before and then I just proceeded
In past. Now it is asking me to change password. I’m skeptical…🤷‍♀️anyone else have this? Thnx! 😁
 
This is what I would do:

Clear cache and cookies. Restart browser and try again. If that didn't work, I would call MS.

There have been some reports of Members having trouble with the website, lately. However (and maybe this is just me), before I reset/change my password due to the message you got, I would call MS and ask for help.

Do you have other Disney branded login sites, like Hulu or Disney Plus? Disney is wanting to have people use the same login and password for the entire family of Disney sites. If you have these other sites, try your login and see if you get a similar message.

Alternatively, open an incognito or private browser window and try from there. I hate clearing my cookies because that logs me out of everything, like Amazon, DISboards, other blogs, newspapers, etc.
 

Hmmmm…I had this happen last week and just thought it was their update and I had to change my password so I did.

No log in from other Disney Branded Sites
 
I had to change my password a few weeks ago. I've also had to enter a verification code emailed to me a few times recently. Maybe, I've been logging in too much lately!
 
I can't get into either Disney or DVC using my password. I had to use a six digit to get into Disney but I didn't have the same option trying to get into DVC. I changed the password and still can't get into DVC. I'm not happy! :mad:
 
It's been happening to me too. Last night a DVC castmember made me change my password 6 times when I couldn't get on to the DVC website. After I tried multiple browsers, cleared cookies, etc, I was finally able to get on using Edge in InPrivate mode only. Safari worked once, but then didn't work again. Talked to DVC and Passholder castmembers. No one seems to know what is happening - maybe they aren't allowed to say. If anyone has any idea, I'd be most happy to find out how to fix this issue.
 
Yeah, I just went into Edge and tried it again and it worked fine. I was using Google when it happened. I guess we'll see how it works going forward. :confused3
 
I still can't sign into WDW/MDE through Google but I'm automatically signed into Disney.com and Disney+ under my previous password. This doesn't make much sense. It's been 2 days now. I even updated Chrome and it's still happening. If anyone finds something out please pass it on. 🥺

Are you still unable to sign in to the DVC site outside of Edge?
 
Although the CM would not admit that there is a problem, she did suggest that I try back in a few days. That wouldn't make any sense if my profile was the problem. I'm thinking the problem must be the result of a software update, and they are working on a solution.
 
I have been logging in a lot lately. I have had to change my password twice in the last 2 weeks and my wife once. For my account it is a PITA. Login is on 3 streaming devices, a phone, and an ipad on 3 channels (Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+) plus on the phone I need to add Aulani, Disneyland and Disney World apps.
 
Disneydreamer781 and others who are interested: I now can log in again using Firefox. I finally tried turning off Malwarebytes and it let me in. Then I turned it back on, and it continues to work. I am totally stumped!
 
For those of you that have had to change your password multiple times recently, last time I changed my password, I immediately changed it back to the old one (because I didn't want to change in on multiple devices at the time). It seems Disney isn't keeping track of old passwords, at least not as of a few weeks ago.
