What is the problem with MS phone the last couple of days, constantly busy or starts to ring but then disconnects, trying with both land line and Skype.
 
Yes for me as well using both 800 and 407 numbers. I realize folks are booking December now but this seems unusually busy at all times of the day.
 
I can't get through either--I've been trying since yesterday morning. It's very frustrating. Is this normal? We've recently purchased DVC, so I don't have a comparison.
 
Is it everyone calling to pay their annual dues? That's why I called today.
 

I am trying to book a room at the BWV

The last 2 days I must have tried calling at least 100 times each, most often the busy signal, sometimes it rings for 45 seconds and then disconnects, we have booked for many years and never had this problem except for Christmas/NYE
 
I paid my dues online. It was sooooo easy. No need to tie up the lines!
It is also 7 months for those crazy summer heatwave vacations!

Unfortunately, you can't use a Disney Visa Rewards card to pay your dues online, which is what I needed to do (well actually, I needed to pay part of it with rewards, and put the balance on my credit card).
 
I paid my dues online yesterday with my Disney rewards Visa. No problem.
 
Keep trying, it is very busy with December ressies. A common "Call Centre" technique is to push a busy signal to some clients when you are too busy to handle all the calls with the reps you have on the phone.

I got thru but had to try several times each day.
 
Oh... I just remembered. Last week when the lines were busy, the 800 number rang busy for me, but I got right through on the 407 number. Hope that helps someone.

Ringing from Australia we do not have the 800 number, can only use the 407
 
This is impossible, I have tried again for the last 45 minutes, no response.
 
I had the same problem yesterday and today. I just kept pushing speed dial and finally I was able to get through. It is a bit frustrating, but you will get through, eventually.:rolleyes:
 
I can't get through, either! I'm just trying to find out what info I need to be able to transfer points to another member. I'd guess their name, address and member number? Anything else?

It just so weird, I had the opposite luck last Saturday, 407 number rang busy for hours, 800 number went through on first try, no wait for a CM :confused3

After pressing redial for 2.5 hours and still not getting through, I find that unreasonable.
 
Called yesterday to transfer points to another DISer and it rang busy on the 407# but I got right through on the 800#. I also got straight through on Saturday when I booked December. I have the luxury of being able to call in the middle of the day as I work from home. Could it be that mornings for example are much busier than later in the day? It doesn't make sense that some of us can get through and others cannot.

I am also self employed, tried calling at 9.00 am, through the day, finally got through at 5.20 pm.
 
The lines were busy for me the past two weeks. Thankfully I finally finished booking my vacation and dinner reservations. Hopefully it will get better soon. ;)
