[/B]:confused3 Just curious if anything similiar has happened to others. I called Member Services on Monday and purchased two annual passes, putting them on my Disney Visa. I discovered tonight that they charged my credit card three times for the purchase! I called the card company and started the resolution process and they stated the charges would be credited back, which surprised me. I certainly plan on calling in tomorrow morning and letting Member Services know about the mix-up and the actions I have taken. Like I said - just wondering if anyone else experienced this and what may have been the outcome of contacting Member Services.

Sounds to me like there was an error / misunderstanding. Not sure that the credit card company will credit you back without hearing from Member Services first. Call them in the morning and I'm sure it will get straightened out. I'm sorry they messed up - they are human after all.

I haven't had it happen at Disney, but I have had multiple charges happen. Having worked retain, I can tell you, those credit card machines aren't the most reliable things on the planet.

If there was static on the phone line, the machines will sometimes double/triple charge, or there won't be a verification code sent for the retailer, so they run the charge again. I've always just let the bank handle it.

I had a charge on my CC from Lake Buena Vista that I just could not for the life of me rememeber what it was for. We had not been to Disney in that time frame. I called the CC company to ask for a search not a cancellation. Well they cancelled the whole charge. This was the summer. When We went to MNOSHP my tickets would not work, they had been cancelled. It was for 7 people. I was floored. The CM did a scan and said," I had cancelled the tickets back in the summer." It was the CC charge that I could not remember. Thank goodness the night was not sold out, the night before was.

I would call MS and handle this through them or I bet your Annual Passes will be Cancelled just as my tickets were. MS never called me or anything to clear it up and I never gave it another thought. Now, I sure know what it is for. This is not your situation, but if you cancel the charge, you could be in a similiar situation.

Looks like they are trying to raise money to finish BLT. :rotfl2:

hopefully it gets resolved quickly. I'm surprised they just can't automatically credit the account - like a refund.

As a side, do you free financing on the AP if you use the disney Visa, like when you book with vacation? We have to buy 5 - it's going to be expensive!

They can but often don't. Chase normally will credit you if you dispute a charge but many do not. They don't really know for certain it's an incorrect charge until they investigate.
