I remember all of the recent posts about not being able to get through to MS during January. I had the same experience trying to call MS to arrange our dues payments. My question is if this is a normal January thing? Should I expect this same problem come next January??

Makes me concerned because I know that I will need to be calling MS in this time frame to book my week-before Christmas stay. Since I am guessing that I should probably call day-by-day to book it, I am particularly concerned.

I realize that this is a year away, but it is fresh in my mind.

People are calling in day by day exactly at 11 months for early Dec and Christmas and New Years holidays. Some may be still calling in for Thanksgiving as well. Expect the same at 7 months out for these times.

Yes. January will always be busy, until the day comes that we can do online reservations.

Without minimizing the difficulties many experienced, I called MS 12 times in January to book a 13 night vacation in a BW view studio for December. I was always off the phone within 15 minutes (often more like 3) by calling as soon as MS opened in the morning. Out here in CA, that meant calling at 6 AM, which oddly ended up being a blessing since (other than delaying my morning walk), I had nothing else scheduled for that time of day!

Other have also posted good results by calling in January just when MS opens.

And you can expect the same busy phones inlate May and all of June - when the 7 month window opens for that popular time. There will be many trying to move their stay or reserve their stay on a day by day basis then, too.
