Member Services --- Hold Time

I had sent an e-mail to Member Services complaining about wait times. I got a call from MS yesterday trying to explain the long wait times. The caller said that Disney has hired two sets of new cast members to cut down on wait time. She said My Disney Experience had added to the wait time.
 
They could knock off about 10 seconds per call if they would let you use a password to access your account (like my wireless service does) instead of rattling off your full address, phone number and email address every time! :confused:


And don't forget the last four digits of your social security #. I get tired of the commercials about "did you know you can make reservations online?" Just connect me or tell me my wait time and let me listen to music with an occasional "thanks for holding" so I know I haven't been disconnected. I think a phone password would be great.
 
25 minute wait at 9:07 eastern. Guess the new CM's haven't started yet... :sad2:
 
Told a 30 minute wait now. I want to book cooking demos.

Yes, I am sorry.

I have been organizing Candy Exchanges on Member cruises, and have typed CE on MC so many times, I typed without thinking.

I was interested in learning what cabins are left for the 2015 4 night cruise. The answer is, mostly veranda cabins...categories 5ABC and 4. My cousin has expressed a slight interest, she was with me in 2013, and had a good time.

Tried at 3:30 this afternoon and was told a 25 minute wait time. Waited 10 and had to leave. Called now and there is a 40 minute hold time. This is crazy!!!

I need to add ME to my reservation… I can't do that online can I?

I'm also on hold, approx. wait time 35 minutes! A opening popped up online that i have been looking for and I need to cancel another first. So i cant do it online. I'm sure it will be gone by the time i get through! :confused3:furious:

Called today at 9:02am and got a wait time of 45 minutes. Are they kidding?? Hung up and called in the afternoon and only had a wait of 17 minutes.

I called on Monday around noon and had a 35 minute wait. Once the member services rep answered the phone she needed to transfer me to another department.....another 25 minute wait. There is an hour of my life I am never getting back! LOL
 
Are folks e-mailing the member satisfaction with their concerns over wait time. I did and got a callback with some pretty generic answers about new hirers and training etc. Has anyone else?

You can add Magic Express on line. I do it all of the time.
 
When I was transferred to the Member Survey at the end of a call about another issue, I requested a CALL BACK AND LEFT ALL THE INFO!

NEVER GOT ONE!:furious:

When I happen to be on the phone about 2 weeks later, I mentioned the fact that I never got a phone call and was transferred to a supervisor.
Supervisor listened to my problem and complaint and she apologized for not getting a return phone call..She said she didn't know why!:confused3
