Member Sevices came through for us!!! We had reservations at OKW from Sept 5 through Sept 18.
We made a call to MS and postponed arrival by one day due to Frances.
Our points for that one night stay were credited and banked.
The following day we thought it still unsafe to travel and called OKW direct (as it was now Saturday and MS was closed). OKW changed our check in date and told us to call MS after the long Labor Day weekend to bank the nights worth of points.
After trying twice while we were down there and three more calls once we got home, I finally gave up trying to get those extra eight points credited and banked..
I finally resorted to emailing MS and they were great. It took them two days to respond but as of today, they have confirmed the points have finally been banked.
Glad I tried the email route!!!

Glad to hear that MS treated you right. Another great reason that we all love our DVC!
 
I've never had problems with member services! They've always been great.
 
They sure have been nice each time we have called to ask questions and change reservation details!
 

Good for you!

My experience is purly anecdotal, but my sole e-mail to MS was followed by a response from a human within 24 hours. What more can you ask? (other than discounted park tickets). :)

Discounted tickets would be great.. But to tell you the truth, I am very happy to have my eight points back!!!!!

I don't balme you. It was wonderful how responsive DVC was to members during this whole hurricane debacle. Your's is another great example.
