Has anyone used the 10% off the sitting fee offered through Disney Event Productions Photography?

I called today to get information and prices, but now I am waiting for a call back.

I'm just wondering what types of packages are available and price.
I want to get some Senior pictures of my son and a nice family photo.

If you have done this can you give me suggestions of where you had the photos taken? The person I talked to on the phone with Disney, said she had her daughters senior pictures taken at Epcot - Italy area, which sounds great. Now I am trying to think of the perfect place, if the prices are within my budget (I know it's Disney so my budget is set a little higher than if I was doing this with a company close to home) :)

Gretchen,

I just PM'd you with my email address. I have some information that I can send you.

I would love to see the information also. Would you be willing to post it here?

Thanks!

We had family photos taken about 3 years ago.

The sitting fee includes the photographer (and assistant) for an hour. You get proofs of EVERY photo they take, with the best ones placed in a very nice hardcover embossed portfolio. I've read that you can also view the photos on-line now, although this wasn't the case when we did it.

You can choose any location at WDW for the sitting EXCEPT MGM Studios. At the Magic Kingdom about the only suitable location is in the Rose Garden. Yes, you get the castle in the background, but you lose the ability to move to different locations since--well, there aren't any. (Remember this isn't a guy following you around with a digital camera--it's a professional photographer with his/her own lighting and carefully planned setups. There just isn't another location in the MK that they can set-up without disturbing other guests, or having others walk through your photo. ;) )

At Epcot, the photographers have access to the World Showcase before its 11am opening time. So, if you choose Epcot as the site, they can usually move you to 2 or 3 different locations within the hour's time.

And, many of the resorts are also popular choices offering the elegance of the lobby and beauty of the gardens / landscaping.

We were quite happy with the results of our session. We paid a little over $200 back in 2002, and I'm sure it's more than that now. It's not something we would do annually, but it was great to get some family photos while everyone was relaxed and tan. :)

sorry I didn't realize I was in the Disney vacation club thread. I had done a search to find out more information in disney photography and didn't realize it had searched every thread.

I would like the information about the photo sessions too. Our son is also graduating in May and we are going to the BW and HH. We will be there for two weeks. None of us can wait!
