The space they have to build in MK is not that large. I don't imagine it will be much larger than the Epcot lounge?

I’m not sure we know how much space might be available behind and to each side of what used to be the shooting gallery. I assume they’re not limited to the shooting gallery space. I’m looking forward to hearing about it when it opens.

I stopped by the Epcot lounge on Feb 2 around 1pm. I am DVC-Y, no MMB. I was told the wait was likely somewhere between 15-25 minutes. Though that wasn't a terrible wait time, it wasn't worth it for me so I didn't bother to wait and visit. I can't say definitively if MMB had any effect, as I have encountered a similar wait time once or twice in the past - could have just been a fluke of the moment I was there. I'll know more definitively when I'm there this June, right in the heart of the summer when heat and humidity are at their maximum.

DH and I stopped by the member lounge during the RunDisney princess weekend after all the races at the end of February. We are DVC-Y and MMB members. When I first checked in, I was told the wait for 30-35 minutes (and the whole area was packed) but once they confirmed my eligibility, we were taken straight up with no wait. While we didn't purchase MMB exclusively for this perk, it was a nice benefit on that particularly busy afternoon. The lounge itself was full -- but the snacks were great (cinnamon teddy graham crackers!) and it was a nice refresh.

What makes you believe that the MK lounge would be any different than the Epcot?

I understand that MK have more guests than Epcot but I would assume that Disney is sizing the lounge appropriately - meaning a bigger park will attract more guests to the lounge. If they don’t we might see a lot of negative comments on SoMe from guests waiting in line for the lounge.

I can already see how it would play out: So we had to wait 90 min for Tron but what’s up with wasting 120min to get into a lounge which is not even a ride at all. When we finally got in it was shortly before 6pm so we had to leave after 10min. Come on Disney you got to do better than that Bl.a. bl.a. bla

The MK lounge will be smaller than the Epcot one, but larger than the DS one. MMB will definitely play a role at MK.

I'm glad you got in, but this does confirm my suspicion that, especially at busy times, you will basically need MMB to access the lounges. Frustrated that I can't purchase it!

It’s been open a while. It’s the sales center and right near the guest services location

It is upstairs. Pretty nice!

We were there last month. Just walked in while at Disney Springs. Although the cast member at Disney Springs called it the "Gathering Space" instead of lounge, it's a lounge like Epcot one. The cast member walked us to the elevator then told us to check in once upstairs. The cast member upstairs checked us in then showed us to a table. Drinks and snacks are available with places to sit and relax. There is a model room that you can walk-through on your own. YMMV.

Now that I think more about it …I think I went in very early when they opened at 10:00 but the upper level has slightly different hours.
Looking forward to returning . Sounds very nice

This was our (disappointing) experience as well... It felt like they really didn't want us up there unless we were going to buy something so we moved on with our day and went home.

There technically is, per the website, but I think it is something like $20 off and must be purchased at the ticket windows.

I saw a sign at a DVC booth advertising it about six months ago, unless you have more up to date info and the website is out of date? ETA found another DISboards post from 2/18 which refers to the discount and a targeted ad on Instagram:

The challenge is the Magic Keys have limited availability and are constantly going on/off sale, so you have to time it correctly.
