Gotta be Disney/DVD that benefits monetarily on this one. It remains to be seen if the members will feel that they have received value for the cost.
Who other than Disney can convince their members that have paid many thousands of dollars to then finance the grand opening of their newest Timeshare where they will try to convince you to buy more points???!!! There be a bean counter getting a big old pat on the back for this idea!
Now, if they can do it right, make the members that attend happy that they did, then its win-win for everybody. If the member cruise is any indication, theres a good chance they will do it here too.
So like anything else, if it sounds good to you and fits your vacation schedule - do it! Who am I to say its too expensive? I pay $2.50 for a bottle of water for crying out loud!!!
