Member discounts????

I called MS today to find out what sort of restaurant discounts were available for DVC members. I was directed to the dvc website and although I found informtion on ticket and tour discounts, I did not see any restaurant discount information. I just received my official member card last week. We closed on July 9th for our 175 points at the BCV. Can't wait for our first trip HOME next August. We will be making a trip next month though so I was curious if there were any discounts we might be able to take advantage of. Every little bit helps.

On the web site, click on Member News. On the next screen, click on Special Member Offers. A whole listing of discounts will appear.

You should also get a sheet at check-in with all the currently available discounts.

You'll be disappointed to find out only a few partake in the discount. Cape May does and you can get a discount at the ice cream place in DD, but for the most part - there are none. I find this to be a primary weakness in DVC.

Actually, there are more now overall than they used to be. And some of those on the list aren't on other discount lists. I count 14 restaurants (OK a couple aren't really restaurants) in addition to a number at the Swan and Dolphin.
