hi all - we have booked a 2 BR and a studio for me, DH, my mom and dad and SIL, BIL and niece and nephew.

for the DVC discounts on things like meals and PI and mini golf - who gets them? it says member receives - does that only mean me because its my name on the card? or if they are with me they can? what if I am not with them but they are staying on my points?

thanks for the help!

Most DVC discounts are available to anyone who has a room ID that states "DVC Member" or anyone with a DVC membership card.

Pool hopping will accept ONLY the room ID stating "DVC Member" (DVC membership cards are NOT valid for pool hopping).

Free Valet Service at DVC Resorts is available with either room ID or DVC Membership cards (you don not have to be staying onsite to enjoy that perk).

WDW dining discounts and discounts on tours will accept either room ID or DVC membership card.

Room ID's for members and their guests- staying on points at DVC resorts- will have the "DVC Member" identification and will receive the full list of discounts available to members and their guests.

Enjoy!

Technically all discounts are available to members and their guests except the cash discount and UMP 10%. Those renting aren't supposed to get the discounts either but DVC doesn't care. Even then, the only one that's enforced is the cash discount. So yes all of your party should get the discounts whether you're with them or not.
