Member Discount rates

I would like to use cash for two days during my August stay. Does anybody know when member discount rates are released? Looking specifically for a one bedroom at BCV. Thank.s

I'm pretty sure you don't have to wait for a release of member discounts...they are the same year 'round. 25% discount on DVC resort rooms, if I'm not mistaken. I believer you can book right now.

It's just that they are not always available. Even at 11 months out.

I just booked for October 2007 and wanted one night to be cash. MS told me the "member discount rate" is not available yet and to call back closer to the ressie??

Last year, when I made my Oct reservation I was told that MS would decide if a member discount would be given as time became closer to the reservation. When I called again, She said it was available, but I might have to change rooms to get it. We had part of the married children and grands so I did not book it. When we were there I was so glad that I was not changing rooms with them, as much as I would have liked to have saved the 2 bedroom weekend points.
