Member Discount On Rooms?

Do DVC members get a discount on a paid room reservation and if so how much of a discount is there? I swear I saw info on this in the past but now I can't find anything on room discounts in the Members Benefit Guide.

DVC members can get a 25% discount on the rack rate for DVC resorts when booking via MS -- subject to availability.

You can also purchase an annual pass with your DVC member discount ($100 off) you can get annual pass discounts on rooms which can be substantial.

I assume you couldn't use both the DVC & AP discount together? Is the AP discount usually better?

You can't combine discounts. Sometimes the AP discount is better, sometimes the DVC discount is better. But the DVC discount is only good at DVC resorts - when it is available. It's not always available. AP discounts usually are announced a few times during the year.
