I should know the answer to this but...Can I use my DVC member discount to purchase park hoppers for our parents who are vacationing with us (but staying in their own room)? I feel like the answer is no...
Currently, there are no members discounts on MYW (daily) tickets. Members receive a savings on Annual Passes for family members that reside in their household.
For 1 & 2 day MYW tickets, direct from Disney is most likely the cheapest. Disney does not typically sell 1 & 2 day MYW tickets to re-sellers at a discount.
For 3 or more days, checkout undercover tourist. If you sign up for the mousesavers.com newsletter (emailed on the 15th of each month), there will be a special link to UT that will offer a slightly better price.

That's what I thought (about AP's). Dh and I have AP's and would have bought them AP's too if the pricing worked out. Looks like mom and dad are stuck with standard hoppers as I though!

I updated my other post to include information about Undercover Tourist which is a Disney authorized ticket re-seller. They have lower prices (than Disney) on 3 day and longer MYW tickets.

It's over $100 difference between hoppers and base tix for them (two adults). That's not a small amount of money. We may just tool the trip to avoid hopping.
