Vs the last two times? Certainly. the original member cruise still had availability on Monday. And Member Homecoming wasn't even a sellout.

Congratulations to those Members who called and booked passage on next year's Member-exclusive S.S. Member Cruise 2005 voyage! As of 2:10 pm EDT Saturday, 10/23/2004, this voyage is officially sold-out. If you'd like to be added to our waitlist, Member Services will remain open until 5:00 pm EDT today to accept requests. Due to the popularity of this event, waitlist requests cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.

Current average wait time is 18 minutes.

Just curious - anyone know how many staterooms there are/were?

I believe there are about 800 staterooms.

Edited to add: According to Passporter 877 (252 inside and 625 outside). Cat 1's and cat 2's were not open. On the last cruise they used the Cat 1 for parties. I would think a number of other cabins will also be help by DVC for staff. Maybe about 20 or so. So I'd say they had about 850 open for members.

Carol MN, the information I have from a 2000 DCL booklet states there are 252 inside staterooms and 625 outside staterooms - a total of 877. That total includes the 2 Category 1 staterooms and the 2 Category 2 staterooms that were not allowed to be reserved for the members cruise.

That was fast! I thought it would be later than that to sell out.Glad I got in! Good Luck to anyone who needs to be on a wait list. Hope all works out.

And just think . . . there are over 90,000 members and we made it through!! I'm so glad we are participating. We missed the first cruise but have attended every other member gathering. If this is as good as what people posted here for the first cruise I can't wait!!! Annmarie

We just arrived home from a WDW trip yesterday. I saw the postcard in the pile of mail. I asked my husband if he would like to go...Yes! I was going to call on Monday. Phooey. I guess if you snooze, you lose. Sandie B

*SIGH* We decided to take a pass on this Member event. We're doing the 2 week cruise in May, but more important, there's a chance that DH may have a big project at work at that time next year. :( :( :(

I hope that all of you have an amazing time. I've loved the Member Events. I hope that they continue to offer them in the years to come. :D :D :D :D :D

Maybe next time DVC should book both ships, all 3 sailings during the week, and see how long that takes to book-up. It took less than 1% of the current DVC population to consume the 1 sailing, in apparently less than 1 day. Geeze!

WOW! I now realize how lucky we are to have gotten through this AM.
