Not sure if anyone mentioned this....

I just saw on the DVC web site that there are additional staterooms available for the member cruise in February.

Booking will be available on November 22nd.

Thanks for the info.

I always know using the points to cruise is expensive, but never know what the real difference is until now.

I just booked, through Dreams Unlimited, a 4-night wonder for 4/04 for 2 categoy 10 connecting rooms, the total price is a little under $2,400 for 5 people.

I thought maybe I will consider the member cruise if the point chart is OK. I just checked the website and it would take 399 points, that would translate to $6 per point.

When I bought my BCV points, my guide was telling me that he thinks even $10 per point for rental is too low in his opinion.

Oh well, I guess we will wait for the next time if they ever offer anything last minute with better point structure, if it ever happens :(

Thanks. We tried to add DM just a few days ago and they told us it was completely full:confused: Does this mean they now went through the whole waitlist and still have some rooms?

Wait, the calculation is wrong because the rate that I was using is for a 4-night cruise on cash, while the member cruise is only for 3 nights. So the price per point is probably under $5.

luckytso -

I hope the Member Cruise is 4 nights because that is what I booked!

poohstx,

oops, sorry. ok, that is a little better. i will go back to correct my post. thanks

I would love to take the member cruise to meet other DVCers, maybe next time when my kids are a little older and if they can have a cruise a little later so the weather is likely to be warmer.

Have a great time, everyone!!!

I can't wait for our cruise, but it is still so FARRRR OUT.
