Mega Meet in Novi?

Anyone going to the Mega Meet in Novi? I am headed out there today. It should be fun!!! Check out the website at www.megameet.com I got a ton of great new stuff last year. i hope there are a lot of bargains like last year!

I went yesterday (5/11) and LOVED it. I could only go from 1:30-6 and felt like I was rushed. I will definitely buy the three day pass next year.

Since I am new to scrapbooking I was overwhelmed. I did buy chalk which I have never used before so that will be fun to try. I also went to the Deluxe Cuts booth TWICE. They were having a closeout sale and EVERY die cut was $1.00 or less no matter what size. I was not the only one going crazy over their items, the line was SUPER long to check out.

I am NOT going today and really wish I was but I can't spend any more at this point. I will start saving for next year.

If anyone gets a chance to check out a scrapbook convention, GO!,it is so much fun. Bring LOTS of money and a BIG bag to carry everything.

I went too! It was my first time there and I had to bring both kids! Needless to say I didn't last too long chasing my son around and carrying my 2 month old! (so if you saw me I was the only one with kids there it seemed!) But everyone was great and I still managed to buy quite a bit there and try my hand at those acrylic stamps (boy I feel like I'm in the dark ages with my rubber stamps!) and the paste embossing. Will definitely go next year! What a great way to spend pre-mothers day (and maybe hint for a cricut next year!)
